I am so excited. This will be the biggest fan event I've ever attended, my first time visiting Indy and, since I'll be going on an airplane, it'll be my first plane ride.
Ever since I broke the news about my trip, some of my friends have been telling me about the flying thing. Rob's joked about the "full cavity search" that they'll do at the airport. And, my other online friend Ron's been telling me stories about what to expect and not when I get there.
I'm a little nervous and excited about being in the air. It's going to be about an hour's flight from where I am to Indianapolis, so I'm glad it'll be a short flight. If it was a longer one, I don't think I could deal.
Meanwhile, I can't wait for what will happen to me once I get there. I look forward to seeing George Lucas, the one who created the Star Wars saga. He's going to be in three sessions on Saturday and I hope we can get in. I've already been reading on the fan bulletin boards about some of them getting in line really really early. I also look forward to hearing what Hayden Christensen's going to say about playing Anakin Skywalker and his eventual turn into Darth Vader in the final prequel film, "Revenge of the Sith", coming May 19th. I also look forward to seeing all the other events going on there and hope that me and Rob can squeeze them all in. Some of the events start real early in the morning most days and won't end until late in the evening. Heck, we'll be lucky if we get some sleep.
Anyways, this is my last blog before my trip. Next time I'll blog at you, I'll be telling you all about what happened. I'll probably space them out over several days. Hopefully with some good photos too.
